I’ve been a writer since childhood, and had my first piece published in a teacher’s magazine in 1993 – YES! Last century! It was so exciting, I just never stopped. I write every day, and sometimes, I visit schools and organizations to talk about being an author.

Here is my dog, Cupcake. She thinks she is a big help to me with my writing, but in reality, all she does is stare at me when I work. Cupcake has her very own blog, where you can keep up with her life as the dog of a children’t author.
